What's up boys and girls, I've crept on this board for quite a while now and I figured it's about time I got involved. I'm all about production!

Same as above, been trolling around here for a while now. Finally got the balls to start throwing some posts/mixes up. Love this forum. Names Steve from southern ct, usa. Been loving bass culture since 1997 with actual cassette mixes. The dj odi porn mixtapes(nyc dnb) were probably what started my love for the darkness. one!

well...guess I'm pretty damn brand new here. live in Canada (winnipeg, manitoba) and I finally found my way to this site in the hopes of getting more into this stuff...and I mean deeep digging! always loved music with heavy bass, have been a big fan of guys like Mick Harris (Scorn), Kevin Martin (The Bug) and Justin Broadrick (Techno Animal etc etc etc) for a hell of a long time. Godflesh just twisted our heads around when I first heard them, then just got into everything electronic they were releasing (Sidewinder, Curse of the Golden Vampire, Krackhead and the Possible Label that Mick had etc etc etc...). not sure exactly how I stumbled upon dubstep to be honest...but I've been a fan for a few years now and the more I hear the more I dig it! I play in a noise duo called KkrakK! and we have started adding some "dubstep" influences to our noise base...in quotes because it's really nothing like it, but there are certain things that have influenced me for sure with all electronic music so we always integrate different ideas/genres into what we do. we just finished a tape that is chock full of beats and noise that I am very happy with.

so...that's about it. really glad I found you guys and I lok forward to checkin in now and again to see whats new.

Hi all, the name's Pete. From Herts UK but live in Manchester. Co-founder of Commission Sounds / Commission Family (well I say co-founder, I though up the name and used to emcee with Swiss and Wallis (SLS) back in the Garage days, ahhhhhhh, memories) who now run Stink Like Sock (something I've had no input in so take no credit for).

I'm just looking for good tunes. Don't prodice anything right now but might try soon.

Fairly new to producing dubstep. Been Djing it for about a year now though, and have produced pretty much most other electronic genres :L

Recently made the move from Chiptune/break to dubstep. =]

Hi. I'm new to this whole dubstep scene, and I'm basically here to find out about more artists who work within the sort of dark, gritty streams that I enjoy. I'm also one of the moderators on Amon Tobin's forums, so i figure it might be good to share some news with these boards from time to time about his new releases and whatnot (since a lot of his more modern sounds share a lot with dubstep artists).

So far I am only really familiar with peeps like Boxcutter and iTAL tEK, and a little bit with Shackleton. So needless to say, I've got some learning to do.

Hi Steppers!

I'm new to the forum but not to dubstep, just finally getting around to uploading my stuff to soundcloud and posting on this forum for the first time.. I have a question..

How do I get my soundcloud link in my sig like everybody else? I wanna link my tracks but when I try to copy and paste the player embed code from soundcloud dubstepforum.com's bb software tells me it's too many chars (900 some vs. 300 some)...

thank yall, I'm from texas, yeehaw! aim: jlz100
