Sounds like a lifestyle i'd be most content with. I work in a consulting company that works with government agencies. Now i don't take part in any of the exciting stuff, i just work in the distribution center. Which also means i have tons of down time, and like you i divide my time between looking around DSF, surfing The Berrics, listning to pandora and drinking coffee(About 4-5 cups a day). Unlike you i don't go to the gym, but im definitely with you on the loud music and smoking bud. I've calmed down a whole lot on that topic though, i used to be an uber pothead smoking all-day every day for a good two years. Then it started giving me panic attacks and i stopped for about 3 months. Just starting to get back in the groove, but i don't plan on getting back up to what i used to consume. I'll maybe do it once every two weeks.wub wrote:I manage a global team looking after integration services at the world's largest telecomms group. I have unrestricted Internet, divide my time between DSF, pissing about, and resolving issues (usually via conference calls), and in the evenings and weekends I go to the gym, smoke weed and listen to loud music.

Tax refunds? I don't get any. I have to pay even more this year actually. And I already pay 40% in taxes of every penny I earn... but I get free healthcare, free education etc..Redderious wrote:So what will you be spending your tax refunds on?

Finished a tune last night. Not happy with the tune, but happy with the fact I finished it.
Does that make sense?

My english teacher gave me a weird look when I mentioned that as the musical instrument I played. Like the wtf stare. I had to give her the 'wiki wiki' dj motion to confirm what i meant.

It's not for giving out, more of a training exercise than anything else.
Will be starting something else tonight though, probably.

Things are the other way around here. Health insurance runs at about 120$ every two weeks, dental 20$, and eye care (i chose not to get) is only like 8$. But at the end of every year we get tax refunds, which if you work full-time usually runs at about 2k. I'm not positive who get's one and who doesn't, i think it's if your annual salary is under 100,000 you get the tax return. I could be wrong though.Mehlovich wrote:Tax refunds? I don't get any. Not hard at all, Bethesda is a life bandit. All their games are completely addictive, especially the Elder Scrolls series.oWLinDaylight wrote:I got skyrim saturday morning and by sunday night I had clocked in 14 game hoursRedderious wrote:So what will you be spending your tax refunds on?.
