Been there, the best thing to do imo is to convince yourself that degrees are overrated and get a 'proper' job like a soul draining office job.

a 'proper' job in an office would not make me happy. and tbh - what office job? i practicly have nothing. nothing than a college degree which isn't a lot when you're 25.

Yeah i dont think office jobs make anyone happy, however, money is a vital necessity. I might have the wrong attitude but id rather have more money in a shit job than vice versa. And if you dont have much experience working, as long as you know your way around a computer you should be able to get something. Not that i know anything about anything tho.

u know. i'd love to focus on music. (i already did so in a way - i spent 90% of my time with music instead of studying/uni) but music is a frustrating thing man. i haven't ever earned anything from it and tbh i don't want to have the expectation of earning/living from music. and also it's so far away from reality - no release yet - nothing alike. just doing tracks, spending heaps of cash for getting them cut and with djing i don't earn a lot really.

office job on the other hand would give me some cash but i know that this routine would kill me.

i dunno.

Find a balance between work and music.
Maybe a job that allows you half day or shift work.
Office work capturing data, etc. can be frustrating but can allow you the freedom you want.
Or possibly find out if a label requires your services whatever they may be.
Think out of the box in the line you love.

Vulvavibration, what about working at a record shop? It has to do with music, you get to talk about music you love all day,maybe you could find a way to stealthily promote yourself through it, and you make some cash!
