Bits is a sick tune. It will make me cringe any time I hear G4L, the watered down version for the masses but fuck it, it's chase & status tune they can do what they want with it.

I get a bit of a kick out of it when I see the video for Wait Your Turn on TV knowing that Chase & Status made it on American regular day time rotation lol. I imagine it's on the radio aswell.

Russian roulette is the tune they are trying to push in the UK anyway.

OK this is what I have to say about all this. I am a producer who is trying to take a Dubstep sound and make it mainstream. So I give mad props to chase an status! I give mad props to all musicians who are trying to do something different. It doesn't even matter if people in this forum like the idea of Dubstep going mainstream or artists at least trying to present to the public a NEW sound. I have heard SO many people say that they are tired of the same old recycled garbage on the radio.. We need someone to have the balls to do something different and not care if a few people are hating on what they doing or are trying to do. SHOW SOME LOVE FOR YOUR FELLOW ARTISTS!! I say that to everyone.. just show some love..

OK, I admit not all of Timbaland's music sucks, just some of it, aka everything he does these days.

If I was from England and I didn't have his new crap being pushed in front of my face every day I might have a different appreciation for him. I have heard far, far, FAAAAR better hip hop from a lyrical and a musical standpoint. Just because you have the most expensive recording studio on the block it doesn't mean you deserve to be respected.

And just because Joker, Rustie et. al were potentially influenced by Timbaland, it does NOT mean that Timbaland is "better" than them. He certainly is not. His early beats are okay, but recently he's focused on capitalizing on peoples' want to be a part of something bigger. That's a way to get rich but its not art, its marketing. So if you start comparing album sales as a measure of goodness I'm going to slap your e-face.

Sorry to harp on about this but this is an important point: just because somebody is on the radio and celebrated by mainstream America it does NOT mean they make good or interesting music, it just means that the radio station is trying really hard to make you THINK the music is good, when it is most likely just rehashed, repetitive shit.

Now let's stop promoting Rihanna's stupid song.
