I know, I'm so original and up to the minute in my references...
I'm no hater
I'd just rather listen to funky worm than that rancid turd

maybe yeah but as the entity RSD i was saying
gravious then....he has probably sold 10% as much as borgore has despite being incredibly deep and with substance...gravious should have sold a million records

but there used to be loads of tearout stuff that was well produced and had real depth...in dubstep wobble wasn't always a dirty word..
take marlow for example with his tune tremor...
tis an absolute fucking banger of epic proportions but it's just not throwaway 3 listens brock out..
KM are fucking amazing don' get me wrong but why was there a bridge in the first place?
because people started taking it in a direction massively removed from the initial intent behind creating this music as an alternative to all the shitty formulaic dance music that was doing the rounds..

Uh, OK, if you say so...
But in terms of sales, who really cares? Are there more than a handful of people who didn't already come from wealthy backgrounds that have gotten rich off making dubstep? Its not stopping everybody else from making some truly amazing music so obviously sales don't really matter at all.
All they measure in this day and age is how much of a marketing team you have and how accessible your music is to the general public, and the true heads realize this.
A brilliant salesman can sell a polished turd to any idiot, its not very hard. It usually involves making the turd seem cool beyond criticism and if you don't have one you won't be part of the "in" crowd.

... fair point! it's just... the term 'dubstep' seems a little insignificant really now, eh?
so many genres are criss-crossing over each other, resulting in some truly amazing sounds....
(that was hardly a new point either, so there ya go joe )
