Mate I like it, I know what you're trying to do with the disjointed break thing and it sounds cool but
i agree with the poster above, the track would be improved by adding a hi hat pattern to complement the amen choppage
the track is well produced i think, everything sounds clean, maybe a bit too clinical (but i guess thats just subjective opinion) also i would have added some more variations in the wobbleHere is my track, again mainly lookin for crit on structure, music etc but yeah feel free to crit the mix if you want:-

Thanx 4 the feedback. Well the reason I used this drum pattern is cus this is a remix of a tune called Stalk her by Prodigal Son. Actually the drums are sampled from that tune. Guess its one of those hate or love it ting. Also was my first full dubstep track. Did u check my other one???lowpass wrote:Mate I like it, I know what you're trying to do with the disjointed break thing and it sounds cool but
I think some other rhythmic pattern (hihats, percussion or another break) to make the rhythm more constant would help a lot, finding it hard to keep nodding my head.
@Astral - Nice song man really aggy, I'd recommended backing off a little on the reverb on that snare, but yeah mint track big up!
@ Trip - Thought for a second there you'd be the first producer I've heard to do an 8 bar Intro, great track, love the use of 'verb in it, automated bitcrushin on the snare?

Thanx 4 feedback. This was my first full dubstep production. I guess i overlooked the hi hats. I hadnt even realized this until u brought it up. As basic as a hi hat is I must have been caught up with everyting else goin on. Scope my other tune i posted. Nice tune. I like the jungle style drum pattern at the end. I tink u should add some distorted stabs here and there. Maybe a couple a bass drops. Check my tunes. U got a good concept bifta. Very original. But u should check ur volume level on ur lead. And do some eqing on your drums. You want ur drums to sound loud and crisp, as this is a big part of your track. Practice makes perfect. Scope my tunes and comment please
Nice. Its a good tune. All u need is to master it. U know make drums hit harder. Thicken the synth. Make it growlTheSnifit wrote:This is my first attempt at a dubstep track any sort of feedback would be awesome!!

I think this has got a really cool idea behind it, but it seems that theres quite a few unwanted bass frequencies flying about :/ theres are drowning out your kick a bit. try turning down that lead line and layering your kick and snare, that should help the drums push through. its a sick idea behind the track thoBad Lux wrote:
