yo out to skream, i get absolutely hammered a lot, usually after i play tho but i have definitley played sets blacked out. not sets i was booked for tho, just sets where i have stepped up and filled in in the 2nd room etc.

Im seeing magnetic man next weekend at big chill, i expect them to all be fucked if there not i will be thoroughly disapointed. Fair enough i want to hear some half decent mixing but at a festival aim of the game is to have as much fun as possible.

Magnetic Man isn't mixing as such, it's all done with computers and layering different beats, bass & tops together to create new tunes. So i doubt they will be 'fucked' while doing this otherwise it would be a shambles, also why would you be thoroughly dissapointed if they weren't off it?

As much fun as they would be having if they were drunk and fucking around on stage, what they get booked for and the reason people go to see them is to do there job, be a DJ. Provide music.

DJ's and the audience should be having a good time during the performance, not one or the other. Finding the balance so that neither the audience or the DJ's suffer is the key.

To be fair you were fucking smashed as you'd been booked as a replacement for someone who pulled out, and you were brought in from Bloc weekender towards the back end of a night - hardly surprising you weren't on form. I'm not getting into an argument about it, that's not how I roll - but that's what I saw.



EDIT: one of the other occasions was down to shit on stage monitoring. As for the third.. an off day? Someone link me a banging Skream live mix and prove me wrong...

I've already said twice. I've seen him 3 times. He was bad every time. I'm not after a friendship - I'm stating what I've seen, which is so far, nothing to write home about. If Ollie has a problem with a random bloke slagging of his sets, oh well, he shouldn't be in this game - take it on the chin and move on.

From my experiences he's not a good DJ - so what. I stick by that. Sorry if I upset all the fanboys!
