can definately hear the youngsta influences in this track. i like the drum pattern but i feel it would sound better if the snare was more snappy and had a bit more reverb on it. also, it would be nice to have those atmospheric strings throughout the whole track as i feel the track is slightly empty when its not there. maybe not necesarily have the strings going the whole way through but something to fill in the atmosphere

Feedback Appreciated!
this is a really good tune. really like how the intro builds up and then it drops quite heavily and then u slowly bring the elements from the intro back one by one. also really like those subtle vocals going in the background. how did u do in the competition?

@reignz - that is heavy shit you got going there im loving the stuttering effect on them and the metalic kinda feel

@the get down - not to keen on that bass but the little drum loop at 1:42 is pretty smooth nice work id also change up the hi hats abit, oh an the 8bit sounds work well in this i think

if anyone could have a look at the track in my sig it would be appretiated :D

let me know what you guys are thinking:)
really nice intro, panning on the vocals works well and loving the piano melody. think you can bring your kicks, snares and percussion out a bit tho, their slightly hidden by the thick pads and pianos in the intro. i'm not that keen on that saw synth after the drop but thats just my personal tastes. the vocals work is really nice throughout. big up

feeling this, mixdown could do with a bit of work but as you said that mite just be due to soundcloud

drop is very heavy, synth pattern is sick. percussions could be slightly louder. big track

@mistayif

the vocal chords track is really catchy, would do great on a dancefloor imo:)
though I think the intro is still a bit plain, you should spice it up a little

I love the middle were the percussion really starts to roll

nice summer vibey track:)

den5hion:
nice intro. i like the lead synth that comes in after the drop. Nice glitchy breakdown well done. i guess my criticism on this track would be to tighten up the arrangement....there's too many parts/changes going on IMO and the track looses focus because of it. Well mixed it's got a nice sheen to it.
If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits 88 miles per hour, you're going to see some serious shit.

Mistayif: Vocal chords- Like the sounds in the intro. Like how you slowly bring in the drums. Nice vocal chops going on and diggin the bongos that come in. I like when the chops stutter up. Maybe some drum fills between phrases would be nice? IDK if you were going for this effect on purpose but at 2:58 that piano chord doesnt fit.
Nice build after the breakdown. Good track I could see this in a racing game or somthing :D

Naider: spooky atmosphere @ intro. The snare sounds very thin to me, compress & limit or use a diff sample. The bass is mixed too loud, it overwhelms the rest of the track. bare wobbles! you got some nice sound design going on for the bass tho for sure. I like that sonar/submarine sound, very dubby

Dav.id: reminds me of a benga track that I forget the name of. The drums could be brought forward, or rather turn down the bass, or rather just the mids and highs of the bass. Make the drums knock and you got a pretty bangin track here. A drum variation after the breakdown would be nice too.

concrate: nice minimal vibes here. maybe take out the vocal sample more and earlier, it gets wearing to listen to for me. Really like the soft arpeggio in the background @ 2:30, maybe use modulation to bring it forwards from time to time?

@urbannerd62: Reminds me of Joker that lead does, heavy track loving the synth pattern. Mixdown is a bit off but loving the sound nonetheless

@mistayif: Liking the bounceyness, it gets a little repetitive before the breakdown but it flows well and is nice and rythmatic

@lazure: That's a banger, fantastic FXs and good vox works, then the drop :) The hat pattern seems to be the same all the through, that could do with a change up, the snare is a bit weak too but other than that good track, liking the reggae organ.

Here's my track, feedback would be great....

@Jaydot

thanks homie :) and yeah man nice track! i would say after the drop cut out that synth or shorten it to quick stabs, also crank up those basses a little and doctor up your snare a little it sounds like its getting cut off and noisy (ie white noise) although just my prefrences.. but otheaaawizeeeee illa track and keep at it maneee :D

@Lazure: Nice bro, dig the start - The bass is a little bit too 'in your face' for my tastes :lol: buuut, that is just my taste. Would be cool to see what you could do if a little more work was put into the drums tho

@jaydot: Interesting track, likin it how you vary up the bass-synth through out... But i think you need to pay a a little more attention to how the tracks laid out, the elements are there, but variations in the drums and more attention to bass-line rhythms and builups/drops could make this a much bigger tune!

@joeyg: Daaaark tune, so siiick. The only crit i could give is some more attention to detail in the drums; ie stronger hits, more levels of hats, touch of reverb here and there, and maybe some 'melodicish' percussion here n there :mrgreen:

ez
~~maybe i'm just anal about drums?
