come on man, you can't argue against something very effectively without giving alternative views and solutions. it's easy to say "this is broken", it's more difficult to actually fix stuff
we have all the technology to provide everything we will need to everyone for free, but we're not going to get it
if we had this technology, what would the need be for money? there would be an excess of clean water, shelter, energy etc
if everyone knew how to live off the land and live in harmony with nature, there would be no need for money
IMO
but we would still have to work each day! possibly even at 9-5! still slavery?

working for yourself is not the same as working for someone else, as a necessity
so no, it's not still slavery
and you can decide when you work, not your boss
and you won't lose your job if you alter that pattern
stop being flippant :P

you lose a handful of extremely handy perks if you go self employed. being self employed is shit if you're lazy

the coolest thing about self emploiment is that you can gain a lot of € by getting tax payed back from stuff you need for your work :p

did you know you can get almost 300 euro a year if you say that the driveway of your home is used as parking for you clients? The only thing you have to do is buy a small parking, clients only sign and put it somewhere so they can see it.

I <3 the system
