Hrmmh, either arguing or posting track without giving feedback for few pages now :/
Please give feedback and you get feedback!

Grime Syndicate: Nice speech at the start and intro alltogether. Like the melodies too.
Nice track, tho I'm more into lower pitched stuff.

Aez: Like the percussion and space of the track. Very chilled stuff indeed. Kick and snare
should be louder imo. Very chill and nice vibes alltho.

Filthy: Creepy stuff :) Nice ideas, need way more mixing, but cool nonetheless.

This is my latest wip, can't fit any melody into it :/

@Karma blitz. Love that vocal, the piano and the percussion fits VERY well with it. Gosh, i love those vocals gives me the fucking chills. Right on spot! Everything flows very good together imo, sweet bass too! Overall a very good work. I'd love a DL link if possible when its done.

@Jungletime. Decent, feels kinda flat, might be because im using headphones atm! I like the yaaa bassline, but its too common, add some more FX and personalize it a bit. The yaaa fits well with the synth.

@ Akkep, creepy shit! Love the atmosphere, good work with that. I love the percussion. I'd suggest a slow, dark melody which express the same feeling the track has. How it can be done i dont know tho. :(

Been playing some more and came up with this, i'd love some feedback and suggestions.

@ Kes Es - Tune it a bit heavy for my tastes but I love the synth sounds on this track. Very nice.

@ Akkep - like this tune alot man. The delayed percussion is really interesting and dissonant sounds are great. I does not even need a melody to my ears!

@ Corpu5 - great vocal samples and melody. the mix needs some tweaking but I'm sure thats due to you mixing without your headphones.

Its the same track I posted earlier, noone said anything about it so took down and did some work on it.
Slightly better mix,
Missing a few bits still, requires guitar and vocals before I can attempt a proper mix altho thats my weakest point, aside from everything else lol
Also gonna do more work on the drums

Soundcloud

The mix down is the hardest part im finding, cant seem to get things to work properly etc, any advice on that front would be greatly appreciated!

@karma_blitz: god damn this is dope. vocal samples are sick, drop fucking smacks you in the face. i really like the drums in this one.

@akkep: ooooooooo i like this. very minimal, but it works. all those creepy echoes are awesome

@wife: i like where it's headed! i love all the little incidentals and the glitchy vocals. not sure what to suggest, maybe just more variety in some sections?

@omni kraut: i dig the devil sample, just watched that the other day ;) the tune's pretty solid for amount of time put into it, it seems like it gets a bit random and unorganized at some moments, but that's why it's a work in progress

my newest wip, attempting to go in a totally different direction (mainly so i can get away from the brostep that i've been rinsing), so i'm trying something more mellow/ambient. still really rough, not mixed too strictly, not mastered at all, but you'll get the idea. i feel like it's missing something (maybe the sub is TOO low?), but that could be cuz it's not as filthy as i'm used to.

holy shit i didn't see how long it was until right now.... eek -t-

Kes-Es wrote:3za: I'm enjoying this intro, for some reason it makes me think post rock, until the weird percs come in, which are alot of fun, I agree with whoever said it was aphex-ish, it really does have that vibe, really abstract, wonky synth, I'm not sure what to think of it as a track, definitely interested in where it's going though!

Indoctrination: I feel like this could use a different wobble with some heavier bass and some more realistic sounding drums, I'd also bring the movie samples down and put reverb on them so they sit better in the rest of the mix, and they could also be chopped differently. The intro synth could also use some work.

Grime Syndicate: I really love this intro synth alot, everything sounds good to me mix-wise right now. There's not really a whole lot to comment on but I do really enjoy what you have here so far. Good stuff.

Here's mine: Soundcloud

I've been working on it on and off for a few weeks and actually posted it here, It's tough composition wise I guess because I'm not getting very far with it when I do work, But I like what I've got right now, honest feedback appreciated.
Sorry to push this further up but I've seen like shit on it as I keep posting it right before a page closes, rage if you must

@kes-es: i like the music box-esque bells, you using some sort of reversed cymbal in there? the weird ratatat-sounding strings sound sick too. i don't know if you plan on adding more, but you definitely need some bass with that melody

listened to some of your other shit too, really unique sounds man, i dig em a lot.

There's a reversed open hat, the bells are an 808 sinewave played wayyyyyy up on the keys, and there is the same 808 just lowwwwwwwwwwer in there for bass, I skipped out on the mids and just left it to highs and lows, everything is sampled haha. thanks for listening man, and huge ups for digging my music man, I really appreciate it mate

Big ups for the feedback, really appreciate it!

Kinsky: Techy sounding stuff, like it :)
Maybe add some more percussion to go with the flow, cool track nonethless!

Wife: Proper moody track, love the vocal and drums. Reminds me of night time.
Really feeling this one! 3.40-> awesome.

Omni Kraut: Cool track, midrange sounds are a little too loud for me. Add some percussion too!

Willryan: Nice one, good direction out of "brostep"! :)
Like the melody and athmosphere, maybe add some more punch to drums and voila!

Here's new one I've been working on:

@ Nessie, you really need to beef that wobble up. Throw some subbass behind it or layer it a ton, and maybe add more variation to it. Not saying it's bad, just that it could be beefed up.

@Ezeckial, I dig the drums. But I think maybe you can expand some of the keys/synths more. Add some reverb/delay maybe? They just sound bare to me if that makes any sense

@ Akkep, definitely has potential. I don't think you really even NEED to fit a melody in, as long as you vary the drums up more. Maybe add some blips with delay in on them. Vocal samples are always good too :D

Here's mine. No mixdown done, and only basic EQs/compression has been applied, so it may sound a little muddy. Let me know what you all think! Ideally, lemme know what you think of the synths. I think they're a bit cheese-tastic at the moment, but who knows

was a bit scared to post a tune, but you gotta do it sometime i guess aha, this is also my first post on here, new to the production side of dubstep, made fidget type tunes before getting into this and a few hip hop/trap type beats for fun.. I've done a lot of reading, this forum is full of top notch tips and info. Well here's one of the couple i've been playing around with lately, tips/comments are highly appreciated! thanks everyone

@Sqwuables- Can tell you've had some production experience, nice bass wobble... could definitely use some sub bass on the wobble once it comes in, but from an arrangement perspective it was awesome

@resykle- pretty dope track, I really like the industrial sound but that kick drum could definitely use some more weight to it, I would layer it or just turn it up a bit depending on what you want out of your mix. I also think the mix may be a little overcompressed, not saying I'm much better about it, just thought some other tracks sounded a little more dynamic in db level

@Akkep- really liking the drum patterns in this, the choice of random samples throughout the track, and the overall atmosphere... I don't know if you were going for a more of a trancey sort of dubstep style, but I'd put some type of bridge in there to give it some composition

@Nessie- Overall I think it's a pretty good project with some serious potential, only things I could give you criticism on would be that having tons of sub bass at the beginning can be a bit counterproductive to the drop at times so maybe holding the sub until the beat drops will give it some energy. Also that wobble could be layered, something about it seems a little thin, try layering multiple instances of the same synth maybe at different octaves or one w/ distortion one without... just to help thicken it up a bit

@Kes-Es- That shit was just sick! really nice job on the bassline and the really dark brutal atmosphere

This is my first remix ever, used a method man acapella... it gets a little better at the end I think but I'd really like some opinions on this because I was pretty happy with this. I took an attempt at a mixdown and putting some 'psuedo-mastering' to try and boost the db level a bit... If anything, feedback on the mixdown would be really helpful!
