I think you should allow remixes. Not just cos I posted one (I don't make many) but just because of the original point behind this project is to help people get the feedback/guidance that some of the pioneers never managed to get from label heads.
If a remix changes the original and brings something new to it then I rekon it should be ok to include it.

Will be taking part in this as often as I have tunes ready in time :)

Your stated reason is exactly the reason I'm not allowing remixes. If an unknown producer remixes a tune unknown to the label head, how are they to differentiate what was original and well made and what was simply taken from the original? In effect, time is wasted listening, commenting and feeding back on production that was never the producers in the first place!

Seen, although, in regards to my remix, who doesn't know horror show?
Good point though so i'll shut up now. got a few bits i'm working on for next time round.
