Can you be killed by falling debris from the buildings?

the graphic demands of this game have been greatly over exaggerated.
If you've kept up with gaming over the past 3-4 years your rig should be fine. It's not like this game is pulling Crysis type textures.
It recycles a lot of map elements and the engine cooperates (thus far) well. I put in an old 512mb geforce card and ran it between 32-48 FPS for the half hour i fucked with it with average settings and only flora density reduced.
With my 2gb card the fan didn't even turn on until about an hour in with graphics all on max, 60fps steady.

Nah, they're what I expected for an Alpha trial. The graphics you're seeing are by no way representative of the finished product

actually they have fluff in them to represent finished textures (textures and effects make up about 75% of the weight on your graphics card)
also if their alphaing the vast majority of their textures and effects are done. Outside of seam fixes, bugs, glitches, and some LOD love this is the game.

I think most of the textures and things are lorem ipsum. At least I hope they're lorem ipsum because the rocks look great up close and far away but the grass looks like I drew with felt tip pens

I'm not criticizing the games graphics. I'm just saying it's not as tasking on your system as some feared. Which is a testament to dice and their art team

Just been playing it for the last two and a half hours and only came out because it crashed
Fantastic game. But I find hard to imagine this game being in any kind of finished form by Oct 25th. I think we'll be downloading patches over Christmas and the new year.
K/D muppetss are all over battlelog, I wish I could ignore their posts.

Get it for the PC man. On the consoles it's limited to 32 player servers and a maximum of 30fps in a dumbed down Frostbite 2.0 engine.
Where as the PC version is 64 players and looks far far better than any console port of this game

From the Alpha forums:
Forum Start > Battlelog Alpha Trial - Feedback > "Hey i'm gettin fucked in the arse over here"
Offended? Yes, me too.
Please take it out of the game. It's unnecessary and ruins my enjoyment of the game. If you feel the puerile need for such language then at least add in a "turn off the pointless expletives" button in the options.
You can imagine how that thread is going. I bet DICE are weeping into their hands.
