It was on 2 laptops and 2 hard drives that all got stolen. Now saying that don't keep all your backups in one place, and chuck on of those hard drives in the damn safe and upload project files to a secure online back up service.

Irregardless of his music it is an extremely shit story, whatever it is about laptops failing and losing your work that way; That's your duty to back it up etc but getting it all stolen and knowing that it's still out there is just hateful.

i might be letting this out of the bag a little too early but i recently heard from a VERY high ranking lizardman that the theft and hard drive failure were staged by skrillex himself. viral marketing and emotional manipulation. he's actually going to fake his own death right before the release of the next album. then release 2 or 3 "post mortem" albums (like 2pac basically) while he gets yet another facial reconstruction and waits for a new hype genre to emerge.
