Hurricane Irene is probably going to 'cause some serious trouble with air travel. I'm going with US Airways and they're offering the option to have my flight changed. Waiting to get through their phone lines now to see if I can get it bumped up. I suggest you check to see if the same is possible.

Reposting this from a few pages ago in case anyone's missed it:

Okie, meet up plans! Based on what we have so far, I reckon the following would be good times for meet-ups:
- 31st: Meet up at the bar (at least I think it's a bar) near the campsite main gate around noon? Then head over to Pula for the day.
- 3rd: Dungeon, near decks for Dubloke and T_!
- 4th: Quite a few of us going for the Tectonic boat, so might be worthwhile popping along even if you aren't going on the boat. Depends on where the boats are leaving from this year I guess.
- 5th: Campsite main gate around 5pm to head over to Pula for the night.

Obviously the above is organised around my convenience But if you have other suggestions please list down!

I'm happy to coordinate meet-ups if people want to PM me their mobile numbers or whatever. Eg if people want to join us later in Pula on the 31st, text me and I can tell you where we're at.

I think most people are up for a trip to Pula on the 5th, that should be well good! WIll be checking this thread and PMs till late Monday night!

Got an earlier one, actually, so I don't need to change my transfer from Venice to Outlook. Though now I've got a full day in Venice that I wasn't planning for, with no idea what to do in Venice. Anyone going to be there on the 28th? Wouldn't mind meeting up and checking it out. I've never been.

You can enjoy the smell of the canals. More seriously, head to Bassilica di San Marco, the square in front of it and the surrounding areas. That'll probably keep you fairly well occupied for a few hours.

Edit: Thinking about it, does anyone want to go on standby for a Hot Flush boat ticket in case the Black Box boat doesn't make it back on time? PM me or let me know next week!

Do the boats get back that late sometimes? 'Cause I'm going on the Hessle Audio vs Hemlock boat, it's supposed to get back at 5pm, and I've got a volunteer shift starting at 6pm. Is that too close?

Depends a lot on whether they get started on time, how long it takes people to get off the boat, etc. I guess it'll also depend on how far away your shift position is. Probably best to let them know you'll be on that boat and might be a bit late. Can't hurt.

I fly out tomorrow. Gunna be a lonnnnnnng day. If anyone is about tomorrow night to meet up at the campsite. Give me a holla. Need something to do. Maybe grab some food and a drink?
