naa. some of my mates have called us grandad for the last 5 years or so because i was the oldest amongst our group of friends. It was also because they could rely on me for pearls of wisdom a bit like a modern day gandalf!

i am aware of this however i thought that using 'babe' or 'darling' would make me sound even more sexist and old fashioned.
