Bullshit. A lot of people's beliefs do tend to become less radical and more centrist as they age, but that's an average, not every person is going to respond that way.

Definitely used to be in the green, probably where OP was, but after working in a family clinic for a while I've become more jaded. So many people out there are terribly stupid and terribly lazy. For sure I feel for the people out there who can't get jobs or can't get back on their feet after shit happens and I think there needs to be a social safety net for them. But the more I work the more I see that there's a huge group of people who either don't have any motivation to work, or are too short sighted to look more than 5 minutes into their futures. /end rant
