I also have some really old Noisia tracks from when they started posting in 2002 or so and asking "what's a reese?". They used to kind of spam their tunes haha.
you can't just state something like that without posting up the tunes (assuming they were freebie spam).

wormcode wrote:First time seeing this thread, I remember all those DOA ones mentioned sadly... I started posting on the main board since about 2002 under a random alias and on the production board with this nick since like 2005 or so. One you guys forgot was the epic BluThunda thread. Basically a kid timestretched some Breakfastaz (I think) breakbeat tunes to dnb tempos, sent them out as demos and fooled some of the big names. Fresh and/or Andy C were playing them out at huge nights, and there was talks of signing him. Eventually someone figured it out, and called him out and it spawned a few old DOA memes and 100s of pages of shit talking.

I like these two sentences. Very calm.

Got into drama on this forum with a certain dubstep DJ that occasionally posts(who shall remain nameless to save any more drama), for mentioning a show where he was ushered off stage by the promoter after being booked in from Bloc festival last minute when Scratch Perverts couldn't make it to their Bristol show, for being absolutely wankered and not being able to string a mix together - the promoter finished the set slot.
That was a good couple of years ago now... maybe even 3. Can't remember which thread it was in now.
Naturally this was argued as bollocks by said DJ. I'm guessing I was viewed as a fucked up crowd member that was tripping or off my tits or something.
For obvious reasons (I was working for the venue at the time) I neglected to mention in the thread that I was the manager at the club on the night and had to write a full event report detailing exactly what happened.

back in the day there was this social site for teens (although there were still quite a few older people on. and some creepily older people too) that was popular here for a while. i mostly posted on the music forum, but then kids from the off topic forum started to post in there and it pissed me and my friends off. the off topic forum was good for one thing, and that was the bitches posting their n00ds. so anytime they would come in and post, we would just post their pictures in their threads.
this went on for a while, so we took a day and just spammed the shit out of their forum and had to get it shut down for a day so they could take out all the pictures. needless to say, they were not happy with us at all

I know, I know... but it's been years. I looked through some old DVDs but didn't turn up yet. The Noisia ones as I recall ended up being released later after they were fixed and mixed better, so I don't think I could post those anyway. But here's some of the lil Spor boy (clock the BCUK shirt):

Buck UK was stealing other people's tunes?! Well fuck me. I got a demo from him and quite liked it. Dunno if they were his tunes or not now. Either way.
