Re: Who is the most hated person in Dubstep?
I can't go to one party without hearing that get up drank and Harlem trap. I lump them in together because I dislike both.
I can expect this if I go to see certain names man. But not VIVEK and Distance. Support dj's should recognise.

Fair enough if you have heard swimming pools track too much but the album over all was honestly one of my favourite albums of 2012 and really can't be lumped in with UZ and Flosstradamus or whatever who are just making corny "trap" bullshit for the bros. It's pretty varied overalljoeki wrote:I can't go to one party without hearing that get up drank and Harlem trap. I lump them in together because I dislike both.

Star Warz was just two weeks ago, pretty good night (especially amit, dillinja was disappointing); . I know of Rampage (23/03) in Lotto Arena...but I'll pass for that. Big names mostly.mIrReN wrote:joeki you know any decent dnb nights in Belgium to come?
There's this one in Brussels http://www.facebook.com/events/241128412684169/ on 22/03
This one at Hasselt http://www.facebook.com/events/397228210371959/05/04
Netsky at Lotto Arena (LOL) http://www.facebook.com/events/376995689051584/
Spectrasoul Ghent http://www.facebook.com/events/164828603668846/ 05/04
Seems a bit slow for D&B the next couple of months.
Re: Who is the most hated person in Dubstep?
btw, Wolf, yeah I was overreacting as usual, Lamar's all right. There's better stuff (humble opinion) and I've had the discussion in the thread, but it's all right.
It was another post in pure frustration of the horrible audience at Hasselt past weekend.
It was another one of those nights where the young ones were going ape shit to trap and sorts but then as VIVEK took the decks at 2 half the room just cleared (distance managed to keep them half entertained).
When tunes like asteroids, Pangaea's Bear Witness, Earth a Run red...get dropped ...such a contrast. Their miss I know, should live with it. We managed to build a good party nonetheless.

I would have said its better to have them bro-ing out before rather than mid asteroids

Re: Who is the most hated person in Dubstep?
Loop was cool in the end.
Support before 11 was, as I said, not to my liking. Digid & Primate took over, very dubby tunes and old school bits (Breakage, Relocate, other 2008'ish stuff...) was well into that, drove quite a few of the younger visitors away (average age must have been 17-18, was really surprised for an old school night).
Distance was spot on as usual, a cross the board. Loads of his own tunes, chestplate material, energetic stuff as well as deep tunes, standard. VIVEK took the cake even though his mixing was abysmally poor (too much system perhaps lol). Great selection man, pangaea, the bug, goth-trad, coki, silkie selection. Sukh Knight upped the midrange and tear-out but still had plenty of good tunes in the bag. Stayed till the lights went on and stayed sober at that! Long drive back to Antwerp.
Though Brugge is still a bit further lol. Good venue (expensive drinks) with good sound system, so despite the name change, not much has changed so that bodes well for that d&b night!

Cher lloyd. Though 'dub on the track' is probably one of my favorite dubstep songs. EVER! (well, behind burial-gutted).And she's fit as fuck! Which usually adds to the hate.

Re: Who is the most hated person in Dubstep?
As I get older I have no energy or time left to spend hating people for such trivial things.
Like it or not most "hate" is directed towards people with at least a modicum of success and it goes hand in hand.
