I've read this headline three times this morning and each time thought it was referring to Diane Abbott.
You're not the only one. Spent a few minutes pondering why she'd have so much interest in it until I actually went back and clicked on the headline.
She was all gung-ho to get involved until she realised how difficult it would be to mention she was from Hackney when getting interviewed.

It would take awhile, going westward under Oz & NZ,
up the South American coast then back east on equatorial trade winds
and down south again on interlinking rotating gyres
which, btw are currently dumping pumice from a 2008 underwater volcano off Tonga on the NSW coast
(along with massive amounts of plastic shit)
