I think it's pretty fucked up to feel that you must lick someone's bottom because you like the music they make.Riddles wrote:You can laugh but actually this is a major issue. The amount of good and well recognised producers that have quit the forum due to things like this isn't small, and when they do it creates a backlash. Maybe a few people also quit because they agree with the person quitting, maybe a few people who were considering joining don't bother because they don't want to deal with that shit. If this happens regularly, a reputation is created. You see it now, when a producer makes an offhand comment about the forum, look at peoples reactions to it, it's hardly good.
There are a load of users who only post in SNH and then come out to post irrelevant, goading or offensive comments just for the sake of it. For fucks sake, a 2 ban had to be added to stop people being stnuc to NEW MEMBERS. How shit is it that people have to be threatened with punishment before they stop being a tnuc.
This topic is on the front page of the forum and a new members or guests reading those 4 pages would hardly encourage them to post and become an active member of the forum.
This forum makes money from advertising so it can continue running, and without bringing in new members the userbase will dwindle and the forum will die and with a reputation this forum has, I can't see many people being sad about it.
I'm not saying don't disagree with people, we should have a good music conversation especially when new genres come round, but you guys could try and be civil.
TLDR: go be stnuc to each other in SNH and leave general to music discussion.
Personally though? "I dislike that one tune you made a few weeks ago" Really constitutes a personal attack? Don't share your music if you can't hack judgement imo. From that point on it's a matter of escalation and if someone's fully gassing in an enclosed space the pressure's bound to rise.Riddles wrote:i think its funny how you think its licking arse not to personally attack people.

You really took that to heartPhigure wrote:Wtf reallyehbes wrote:Who was zerbamann
Yeah, it's escalation. Whenever anybody anywhere gets called out it's because of something they have said or done that warranted a calling.Phigure wrote:He's not talking about jurkhand's (harmless) initial post u dummyrickyarbino wrote:Personally though?
