only if you want to dance that Black Waltz my dear. Many people have, take no shame in it. Your not selling your soul to achieve a dream.

of course I know your kidding

I want to become a freemason still, my stepfather was a freemason and he's a good man. I still think the freemason's in general are good people, but there are bad apples in that bunch for sure.

you seem to have missed something. (several things)

its not the freemasons as individuals, but the powers they pledge allegiance to that are problematic

My back ground is a bit of a mystery since both my parents were adopted. No joke either. I could be closely related to someone famous.

Most likely not 8)

no, dumbass, i'm mocking you.

here's something fun. i'm going to go on an unrelated forum. probably n.c. based, and announce in detail my intentions to assasinate a public official in asheville.
i will show up at the specified time and place unarmed and with a camera...will be sure to report the results.

I would like to see some free thinking men in that group break away from their allegiance, but that doesn't seem likely.

If I do become a freemason and try to do just that, I'll lose my membership and be blackballed from the group. It would be worth it though, for principle and honor.

anyway i'd like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to pompende for coming into this thread and demonstrating everything that is wrong with this country that we have been discussing in-depth in this thread.

its not often that such perfect real life examples fall in place so well.

so this country is going to shit because americans want real change and aren't into enough conspiracy theories?

I do. Much like Icarus flying to high and falling to earth for his folly. I doubt I'll be come a mason if I chose my current path, but if for some crazy reason it happened...It would be totally worth it to me.

Parson, don't be too harsh on the boy, he is from North Carolina after all... :)

the only thing i know about north carolina is that they twirl their t-shirts around over their heads (like a helicopter). beyond that, my best guess is they're all like pompende.

omfg...you're nothing but a coputer program designed to piss me off and distract me from real issues!
of course... your rhetoric is vacuous because it exists only to inspire extreme responses...well played.
