i think the thing is to get a track sounding tight as before u start fucking about with compression and that, the key to it is a good mix down, making sure none of the elements sound harsh or fatiguing, even if you are trying to make mental noises. basically i recommend turning it up as loud as you can get away with while making tunes so u can source out the causes of problems. altho saying this, some things can sound completely different on monitors to how they do on a big rig, so its a process of trial and error really.Akira wrote:safe stench, nother question
in reason, what is important to use to make tracks sound like professional, ive just started mucking about with compression, EQ and unison but i dont know the ins an outs
was wondering if u cud shed sum light on the matter?
definates person, i feel less compassion for humans than animals. i once cried when a dog got killed in vain in a mad max filmJohnny Beat wrote:I bet person.£10 Bag wrote:stench:

You don't say shit about the cows.
i tend to play about a lot, use ones that dont get used often, i will usually have a sine running alongside whatever i got for sub. if you put an electronik and pwm wave together on the malstrom you can have some fun.PuppyKicker wrote:What's up man... Love your tunes... blah blah blahhaha
Reason's sytnhs are pretty simple as far as wave forms go. I was wondering if you have any waves you especially like putting together (wave and a saw, tirangle and a square..whatever) Thanks for doin this little chat... Mighty kind of ya
respect.
