This is exciting! Word picture:
You are waiting to cross the street late one Saturday night in the future and a Cadillac Escalade pulls to a stop at the light, full of beautiful girls in their Saturday night clubbing attire, shouting, laughing and hanging their arms out the windows, and dubstep blaring from the vehicle.
Shivers? Anyone? Shivers?

jebus! interesting how it got so massive even after being leaked...
everytime an underdog tune gets to this status it is usually because it leaked (the last 1 i remember was T2 heartbroken)
word of mouth promotes better than anything
people with this tune on their phones have helped the sales tenfold in this case. In most cases people have not paid to have this tune on their phone & therefore its a leaked version.
Sometimes i can tell if a tune is going to get majorly signed from this fact alone. (12 yr old girls playin it on their fones on the back of busses & hearing it on a CD in a sports shop)
This time was no different
Bigup Skream & La Roux
Now all you need to do is
RELEASE KINKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The B side MADE THE SINGLE. What are you smoking.
I work in a place where the single is sold
nobody asking for it knew who skream was when i mentioned he (being local) did the remix on the b-side
whether it's better or not people didn't buy it for the remix...
the album is in the top ten at the moment...do you think that's all down to the remix as well?
However Skream's remix was in the top ten iTunes chart, the REMIX, not the single. And lets face it, the TWO remixes released on the single had a more than massive influence on why it sold so much.

yes and the main version was number 1 for long periods..i use itunes so saw it...
that means that whilst some people grabbed the whole release others just went for the original mix...but hey no-one wants to hear that here
BIG UP!!!

Whether it was because of the remix or not, can't deny it played a large role. Huge tune, big ups Ollie.

I knew the song was pretty big when what appeared to be a 3000 + crowd going nuts at it at Dour.
I don't like the tune, but I've listened to it a few times tonight because it takes me back to Dour, that song and 'Night' were everywhere.... not a fan of that tune either, but hey, I ain't hatin'. ;0
Good for Skream, though I think the original had more to do with its success.
