Hi people,
As you all know the deadline for the Grass Roots Dubstep competition is this Sunday.
Make sure you get your tracks in before then! If you havn't finished that track you have been building or just havent got round to uploading your music yet make sure you do so.
There have been hundreds of entries from producers world wide, the quality of the music has been superb! The judges have got a big week in front of them!

erm, im currently at school so i don't have much time these days but i've got alot of stuff in the work, just gotta finish them off but il keep you posted

BIG UP ALL !
The Deadline has passed.
Carbon Logic have now closed the doors on any more entries for the Grassroots Dubstep Competition.
The Judges are in their final listening sessions and will convene online together to argue out the SHORTLIST.
THE 20 Track SHORTLIST will go up THIS WEEK - SO LOOK OUT FOR IT.
Then the following week The WINNERS will be announced.
3 tracks will make the EP and 12 will make the LP.
All Profits will be donated to Love Music Hate Racism.
Maximum respect and thanks to all the artists who have uploaded.
We can't wait to hear the Grassroots EP & LP !

word is the Judge Panel is gathering for an online conference tonight !
that means we're likely to see the 20 track shortlist tomorrow (Thursday 12th) or Friday 13th.
can't wait.

check the selection here;

you can listen to them all non stop by launching the non stop player (top right)
then select Shortlist #9 from the drop-down.
Final Winners announced next week Thursday 19th.

Wow, what a couple of motnhs!
The Grass Roots Dubstep comp has grown and grown.
I want to take this oportunity to thank all of you who entered and kept this thread so lively!
As you know the shortlist is up. The judges have judged and now Nick Argon will choose the winning tracks.
There was a silly amount of great music uploaded to the site, enough for a number of top notch Dubstep compilation releases! Sadly though is out of our scope, but seriously guys if you didnt make the shortlist it does not negate the quality of your music at all, the majority of the music was releasable and as there are so many Dubstep labels out there I am sure you will all hit wax at some point!
Keep doing your things! It is a long path but worth the effort! I speak from experience
The competition was fierce!
