Anyone got any links for how to use traktor, basics of beat matching/mixing and such? I find myself jumping on the mixtrack and just using it as a glorified ipod at the moment. Granted its the second time using it ever but info on stuff like using the low-mid-high bits on the mix etc would be good to read over. Instead of just continually dicking about jumping from 160bmp juke to 80 bmp hiphop and things like that

I'm having hard time understanding. I use traktor as a medium, just for the tracks.
The beat matching is pretty much the same as on regular vinyl.
EQ section is just like on a real mixer isn't it?

Fully digital, I guess you should just hit sync or use a master clock or something.

i'm not sure dsf has a guide to djing actually, could be a handy thing

check out ellaskins on youtube, his vids are good for getting the basics down and theres so many of them that there should be a good place to start no matter how much you know.

do you know him personally? i usually joke like that with people i'm close with, or people with similar humor who i'm certain will understand me. if it's just an acquaintance or someone i don't know very well, i'll come off really harsh, i've made some mistakes like that. FB is tough sometimes.
