Jeez man, something has rattled your cage hasn't it?
Obviously meant, is that actually considered "High Speed" Stateside or is the advert just trying to dupe people? Didn't sound cheap for what it is either.
I got into whale when I got into tricky and found he had done a few tracks with them. Saw them live when they toured together in the mid/late 90's and was a fantastic show but haven't listened to them in well over a decade.
Looking back this may be one of the most underrated tracks of the 90's. Was so different from everything else going on in that era. Them and soul coughing don't get enough love

Wish I hadn't bothered asking now tbh.
what are you going on about? this is an internet forum, im just typing and sipping fruit juice over here... are you picturing me furiously stomping on my keyboard or something?
it's an ad, what do you really expect? it's not like they're going to spout "relatively mediocre speed internet!". there is puffery in almost every advert. hot pockets are also not delicious and usually not part of a balanced meal either.

No, you just seem to be sniping unnecessarily at a simple question. Forget it.
I know it's an ad man, I'm not fucking stupid, but I was wondering if your average dude considers that fast, I know speeds vary a lot around the world, would've expected the US to have higher speeds than that, which is why I asked. I apologise for trying to expand my knowledge.
Maybe someone other than Knell could have a shot at it.

jesus man
i apologize, this was not my intention. sorry to have offended you in any way. the short answer is yes, the average person over here watching that ad probably hears 12mbps and thinks that it is fast.

i rememeber when double cheeses used to be a quid. i went to london and they were 1.20 and now theyre like 1.50. its getting silly
