I've reached the heaviest DB in my gym for my press. not sure where to go from here.
Attach plates to dumbells using straps?

my membership actually expires on the 1st Jan so maybe I can ask them to buy some bigger bits of tin or I'll go elsewhere.

Went to a gym today for the first time in years. Could train there for free for 10 days. Cancelled after my first workout. Didn't like it at ALL.
Didn't really fuck with free weights though.. That might have been nice.

COULDN'T FIND THE DAMN GYM so I'm just doing bodyweight exercises. On DSF between sets. Just did 2 sets of wide arm push-ups til failure. Heavy.

Edit: out to the homie Jurrecane cuz I'm in the mids of the heaviest workout I've done in ages. Heavier than leg day, definitely.

It's fun *shrugs* if I didn't enjoy it I don't think I would be that into it.
You just gotta be sure to work hard when you're doing it. When you half ass it or don't go at your hardest it's just a boring routine

When I filled my empty protein container with water it was about 20 kgs. So to the heads, if you're ever incapable of going to the gym and need some weights, try that.

Yeah I properly learned to enjoy it when I learned how to lift properly, so that was a bit later. At first I just enjoyed the idea that I was physically active. Results help too tbh.
But if you're not into it but you want to find something to get in shape just try a bunch of different sports until you've found one you enjoy. It doesn't have to be lifting.

the wrist on my right hand is fucked from a car accident and it's at a slightly odd angle from whrere it is suppose to be so i dont think i could lift weights on a regular basis tbh
it hurts like a bitch if i even use a mouse for too long
my left leg is basically held together with metal wires so there's not a whole ton of sports i can try, that's my excuse anyway
i do ride my bike though so it's not like i don't get any exercise

Got some workout gloves today. Should be able to bench 250kg within a week, will confirm.

Haha, that's all good. Tho some people workout with injuries like that anyway and it's a matter of finding exercises that don't stress you too much. But riding your bike is a great way to stay in shape too

Yeah, I keep condoms in it in case your mom is in town.
Nah, I dun mind the callouses and that, already well formed, the padding on the palm should take a bit of pressure off my fucked right wrist. Will be good to try them out, they look decent.

I've been considering them since my last deadlift too, to be honest. Bar kept slipping out of my palm and wrist straps are a bit of a hassle.
