Re: newcomers -> introduce yourself here

Post by BKleb » Thu Mar 17, 2011 5:04 pm

Hey everybody! My name is Brian, but all my friends call me BKleb, hence the username. ;)
My program of choice at the moment is FL Studios. I've been working around in FL for about 4 years, off and on. I would like to learn how to use Ableton though, some day. My main focus in FL use to be only techno/house, but that's slowly evolving. I've recently developed this craving to produce dubstep, so I followed my desire and started producing dub and I enjoy it so much! I am FAR from being professional, but i was hoping that maybe this forum could provide me with some criticism and judgement. I hope that one day I'll be able to produce beats that give people goose bumps when the bass drops.
That's just a little bit about me.
Deuces.

Hey guys, I'm from Massachusetts and new to the dub scene. I've been trying to get into it for a while, but there's so much out there I don't know where to begin. I've always appreciated artists like aphrodite and black sun empire. Any artists in particular I should check out first. I'm going to my first dnb show on tuesday.

Yo, I'm Teaisanice because it is. 22/M/London. I'm a fan/listener more than anything else but do dibble in some production. One question though, could someone please link me to the page where I can get a tune ID'd? Been mindfucking me for the last 2 days and I know, that I know it! Thanks in advance, oh &&& consider me introduced ;-)

listened to brostep whenever rusko came out with that remix of pro nails, then got bored. recently started listening to dubstep a few months ago and then happened upon the DMZ 6th birthday party while visiting london from the states, and had my best night in london over there despite the heat, skinheads, and fucking coatcheck. since then i've been hooked. joined this forum to look for dubstep events in my area.

Hi. I've been working with FL studio for about a month and still don't really know what I'm doing :] Mainly just messing around with patterns and such.
Hope to eventually make some quality songs
