@ RESIST. I love the sound of the drums sound like an old worn radio. Maybe add more crack to that snare it sounds to much like your kick! And you have like a rimshot which would be cool with some delay I think. I'm loving your bass it has real progression and it seems that you drop oscillators throughout which works absolute wonders for it. Overall I digged the tune keep it up1 :P

Dav.id wrote:hey people, just finished this track today, my goal was to make is very dynamic and robotic, I used massive to create all the basslines, I splitted the bassline in three layers so I could give it alot more variation

It has a very robotic rolling sound to it, my inspiration for this track was Excision, Datsik - Boom

you can download it here:

I'm looking forward to here some feedback

If my english is fucked up it is because I'm dutch :D, so sorry for that hehe
banging bassline, can definitely see where you got your inspiration from. Ditto other peoples comments about ur lengthy intro though. I think it could do with a mini break and build up mid tune just to add another element. And turning the hats up wouldnt hurt! Really feeling this one though.
thanks i'm working on it :D

Safe,
Heres a remix ive just finished for my mates band, mastered to perfection by DSF Legend Macc @ Subvert Mastering. I posted this in the dubs section a few days back completly forgetting this sticky was on here. Definatly agree with the lack of love for unknown producers, spose theres just so much stuff on there.
320 for your ears:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=WG66XAX0

This is the first serious choon ive made pretty much. After a few months of pissing about making stuff not really knowing what i was doing i set myself a year aside last xmas to fully learn the ins and outs of programming. Ive still got another 4 months of full time fucking about until i start making loads of stuff. But i thought id take a few days out to do a remix for these guys, as they always churn out the goods at the place i do sound for and are proper safe peeps.
All feedback appreciated :)
Im in the zone with a new remix at the moment, but ill give loads of tracks on here an airing later and give some feedback (doubt theyll be much technical tips though as im still a relative noob).
Peace

Safe Kezeg,
Trust some twat on youtube to give it 1 star! Dont take it to heart mate seriously.
I love the strings dude, you got em sounding proper sweet. Only thing id say is beef the bass (the one that hits around 2mins) up abit, maybe layer the same patch over the original with some distortion of some kind) and replace the kick and snare with some more hard hitting samples so the beat really smacks you in the face (ive got a few beasts, PM me if you want a few i dont mind sharing the wealth :))
Other than that (which will probably take you about 10 minutes to do) its a winner mate, I reckon it could end up sounding proper Reso-ish. Keep churning out the choons!
Safe

EOS is fucking filthy as man! Nice 808 sub layered on the kick aswell, not enough of that used IMO. Mebbe get your hands on glitch vst and fuck them beats up abit to go with the crazy ass bassline!
Yeah is good aswell man, never tire of that bass sound! Although drop a kick underneath the crash cymbel at 1.23! Maybe its just me who always has to do that mind... Fucking weird ass pic on the vid aswell haha

@ saint,

il be honest mate it all sounds a bit dry, need to get some effects on there man, reverb 4 sure, it also sounds muddy and quiet,
sorry to be harsh man thats just what i hear,

@ benh

Defo one fer the ladies, i like the bit near the end betta (around 4.20 mins) if u droped the keys here i reckon it would sound betta, sound a bit too much like pop music 4 my taste, but its well produced and still a good tune and id be proud of it.

@panick
big tune straight out man, nothing else to say props man,

got a beat iv bin working on 4 a bit, any comments will be well appreciated

its in the sig and its called "what i cant do"
