I`m close, let me tell you.
Yesterday I told him I don`t want to have to confiscate his phone for having shit music on it.
Parents and kids should disagree about music... it shows that the world's still working. But if I were you, I'd be sneakily replacing his Chipmunk versions with Chopped/Screwed versions just to see how confused he gets.

When he was 9 he enjoyed noisia & icicle.
Now he`s 11-12 and he has shifted to listening to all the popular artists remixed as the chipmunks.
His favorite is LMFAO - party rockers (chipmunks)
It is honestly one of the most annoying things I`ve ever heard.
The other day he hears a song on the radio and says, "cool, I`ve never heard this version. I`ve only heard the chipmunk version"
FFS
The only way to remedy your child is to play Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, DJ Wanka, The Animals, The Who, The Rolling Stones whilst in the car. He'll get a taste for heavier music, and also most of those bands songs (Such as 'Smoke On The Water, Paranoid, Paint It Black, Phill Collins dub and The Seeker') will stick in his head as they are quite catchy.
And if that doesn't work. Smother him with his favourite teddy.

Or you could let him make up his own mind about what he likes rather than force feeding him what you think he should like.

That works, I stopped listening to rap after my mother decided she liked it -_-

Trust me, he`s been exposed to everything.
He used to be rocked to sleep as a baby to reggae & dancehall.
Fed to Cream & Deep Purple.
And puked through Rage against the machine & portishead.
He enjoys everything I play to him from hard to chilled.
It`s just that now that he is developing his own personality, I`m worried that he becomes a dickhead .
I don`t stop him from listening to the music he wants to, I just don`t want to hear it.
I tell him to either use headphones or go listen to it in his room.
Fairly reasonable I think.

Actually a good idea. Ask him to make a mix CD (or cassette tape, even better) of it for the grandparents because you think they'd like it too.

No force feeding here.

My Dad used to call Hip Hop "that talking music you like".
That's the kind of generational cut off I'm comfortable with.

It`s different for me because I have a smaller age gap with my son.
My mom asked me if I was still going to buy "tapes for your cd com"

I would be pretty confident that if he has parents that are really into their music then he is going to delve deeper into what is out there than the standard chart crap. may take a few years but it will definitely happen. You will just have to put cotton wool in your ear till then lol

There must be more to it than what you can see in this video, surely?

Cyclist wasn't using the cycle lines, cyclist mouthed off at bus driver, cyclist got put in his place.
Seems reasonable.

Anyway, the fact I made a pretty good track and I'm stuck with these fucking headphones that are really dumb-as-fuck when it comes to mixing.
