blackdown made a blogpost called "dark 130" the other year and named a load of producers he thought were doing interesting stuff. its easi9er to say '130' than 'that stuff dusk n blackdown play on rinse and all that sorta stuff'
also quite a lot of the tunes are loosley around 130 bpm
the name is stupid but makes things more open for people to make whatever they want. like wen dubstep became dubstep and everyone was like "how do i put a snare and kick to make dubstep beat durkaderp"
+ no one can be arsed to think of a proper name

i know we all know what it means, but seeing as people lump LOADS of 140 with this (murlo, mr mitch, boxed grime, grime in general) its a little misguided. fuck it tho its irrelevant

It's the 130 vibe tho Murky, the bpms don't even come into it.
It's either 130 or post-post-dubstep outsider key sounds.
