the mutant species tshirts are nearly done - i have just started the 5th and final design in the range.
i will be taking them to the skate shop in the week and then it's just a matter of getting them printed which, fingers crossed, will be within a week.
im not going to show any previews as i want to reveal them all in one go so keep an eye on my website for an update within the next few days...

i was wondering that. i been trying to recreate that look for a very long time in camera & in photoshop using filters, textures, ambient light, gauze, dirty glass etc etc
never got it that good tho!

Adding noise and grain, applying warming filters and adjusting hues/contrast.
It helps if you know a bit about photography and differnt types of film/how differnt types of film effect image.
Or.
It also helps if you know how to use google.
I done somthing similar with this photo.

Yo yo! Cheers for all the big ups guys! Means a lot!
The photo of the lake is a half finished project, it has a overlay of a bass clef pouring out of the hills in the background and flowing around towards the rocks, all sunken in to make it look like it is part of the water, haven't quite perfected it yet, but am very close.
As for the dirty, grungy, aged look, it is done with a couple of texture overlays that I took, one of a slab of concrete with speckles and shit on it, and the other of a rusty stained textured concrete wall, they are placed over the top as seperate layers in CS3 then the fill and opacity is adjusted and use something like overlay or soft light, hard light etc from the drop down box which ever suits best out of the menu list.
Then on the main image from the top menu bar I use layer -> New Adjustment layer -> Selective colouring. generally with the neutrals and blacks sliding the bottom black across to the right, then adjusting the reds and blues to give it a bit of an aged appearence. Then do the same process on a new layer with Hue/saturation, then if needed add a photo filter to finish it off.
That is the basic gist of it, again these will need to be tweaked for each individual image, but if you play around with the above steps making your own adjustments you will come up with your own interpretation

does anyone know where i can get a template or a simple downloadable contract for artwork?
ive designed some tshirts and i will be getting them printed and sold in a skate shop.
i want to retain the rights to the design and i dont want the shop using my designs for anything other than printing onto tshirts to sell.
i will obviously need some sort of statement in there outlined who gets what percentage of sales...
anyone got any experience of this or can anyone help me on this?
