Been playing a load of Indie games recently:

Started playing Lone Survivor again as i deleted my save a while ago.
Bought Hotline Miami yesterday and it's so good! Soundtrack is sick and game is brilliant.
Think i am close to finishing Legend of Grimrock and have been really enjoying it.
Played Chivalry: Medieval Warfare a few times but 'cause of the free weekend couldn't get on last night.

the free weekend of chivalry absolutely raped the servers. cant get on anymore.

im on killing floor atm. such a great game

Anyone tried Mortal Online? Looks pretty interesting.. It's a MMORPG but it's not just another WoW clone or whatever.

Downloaded the trial yesterday but didn't have time to try it.

It reminds me of minecraft in some way as there is a lot of focus on just surviving the wilderness etc.. Guilds can claim territory and build bases and wage war against eachother and conquer eachothers territories etc.. Kinda like the factions mod for minecraft. Oh and when you die you lose all the stuff you had on you (you can respawn though so its not like DayZ.)

just found out BF 1942 is free.

On PC, Dead Pixels and The Bleed Pixels, both indie, both fun, second one pretty hard. DP is 2.50, TBP is about 10E on steam.

On 360, X-Com. Same as Jay, sometimes this game makes me rage hard.
Alien Base Invasion, my team contains 5 soldiers. 1st turn, everyone is in position, no enemy contact.
First alien turn, 4 of those fucking things

Also Gears of War 3, pretty boring.
Tomorrow my copy of RDR will arrive. Noice.

actually, fallout 3 is set 200 years after the nukes, i dont understand why everything still has a green tint and there is no vegetation

Residue radiation, embedded in the ground itself. Parts of Chernobyl can't be inhabited for 800 years. But then again, why are there giant crab people?

But even with that residue radiation in Chernobyl there is still vegetation and animal life.
I always thought the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series did radiation and radioactive fallout better.
Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics were set with that 50's vibe hence the desert and everything destroyed setting, I don't know why they used that for the reboot sequels without the rest of the feel.

hella fun. for a beta this game is fucking amazing. lovely visuals, optimized brilliantly, brilliant range of aircraft (i mean brilliant)
even if you've never played a flight game, give it a go, the arcade mode is really fun and its not that hard to get the hang of.
and for all you propellerheads the simulator mode is top-notch.

after all these years I still don't get why anyone would want to play shooters on a console
