I need some help flattening out the levels of my sub. I run in to this problem often, sometimes more extreme than others, but my C's and D's seem to be significantly higher in volume than all my other notes and any key below A is barely audible.

Like they are louder in your meter, or they sound louder? Very possible your room is emphasizing a couple of notes. Or you could be using a resonant filter with your sub, which is not recommended. A pure sine with no filtration, no keymapping funny business should be at an equal level for every note.

I removed the filter which didn't seem to help so i ended up removing the eq as well and that cleared things up. Truth be told the room i'm in is extremely open and has had no treatment done to it what so ever but oh well, the problem seems to be gone. Thanks for the tip!

Be careful, if ur inclined, when using eq'es spec w subs. U can lose a lot of headroom. Do some research on the subject.

Also the size of the room plays a bigger role in the creation of bass nodes that can cause drastic variations in bass perception.

I love making tunes with shit tons of different basses etc etc. But it gets sooo incredibly confusing in Ableton Live as there is no "ghost channels/notes".. Anyone has any cool advice or something on this?

I love so many things about Ableton, but the piano roll is just so extremely shitty.

you can deavitate clips and notes by highlighing and right clicking, i might be misunderstanding you though
What exactly do you mean when you say ghost channels/notes

Here's two different basslines. I can see the notes of the one I don't have opened in piano roll.

If you make both basslines in the same Clip in ableton you can shorten the clip to the current bassline while being able to see the other notes in one window as well

Im not at home at the moment but say if you made a Clip 8 bars, one bassline would be 4bars and the otherbass line takes up the other 4 bars.
You could then shorten the clip to be 4 bars, it would still show the other bassline in the clip but it would not play it

Sometimes you want like every note of a line to play on a different synth. It is far easier with ghost channels in fl. L's piano roll is so primitive it is barbaric next to Fl's s'all good though, strengths and weaknesses.

Tell me about it... The ONLY thing holding me back from using Live on "full-time" is the damn piano roll. Everything else I just love about Live.

You can also copy one pattern into another pattern, then right click and select "deactivate notes" for a similar effect to "ghost notes" in Fruity Loops (I think this is what you are trying to do)

Hey I got a question for you gentlemen..
I have a certain vst on a track that, whenever I stop audio continues to make a
weird sound. The thing is I really like that sound and it only happens if I
stop the track in the middle of the midi note..

my question is, Is there any sort of way I can record or resample the sound to
another track even though the sound is genereted only when the track stops..
