Heavier records are ideal for me seeing as everything has to get shipped to me, they are obviously stronger (nothing worse then getting warped records) and I personally think they feel better, I wouldn't be surprised if quite a few people prefer them heavier

call me a hipster but I love the 180g ones feels more Reeall duude

I dont go out of my way to make sure I get 180g, but I do love it when a vinyl I bought turns out to be heavier than expected

Don't get why people want certain tunes to come out on certain labels. What does it matter as long as you can get the tune? Do people not want new labels to spring up?

i think theyre juuuuuust a tad nicer for mixing, with the extra weight comes a bit more intertia

but yeah, i think the biggest advantage is that theyre simply less prone to warping

I always liked lighter vinyl more. Heavier ones also appeared to always be more statically charged than my lighter ones and thus attracting more dusty dust.
