I completely agree, it seems that there are too many classifications that categorise moods and behaviours into full blown 'problems' which in turn demonise these behaviours. I feel pretty damn autistic after a zoot that's for sure...

BTW this 'movie symbolism' stuff is insane waste, patterns appear everywhere it means nothing and there are far more efficient ways of sending 'secret messages' than popping them in films (does the recipient of the message have to wait for the film to come out? What about urgent messages?)
Maybe the film-makers are as into masonic symbolism as you are and just like referencing things in their films, y'know cos it's art and shit?
