Cook Cook posed little challenge. The only part of this side quest which made my balls slightly ache was when Companion Bitch suddenly became an expert marksman and blew his head into a couple of pieces, which just won't do if I want the bounty. I had to re-load.

Speaking of balls, mine were slightly bigger than my shotgun trigger. I attempted to merk the DeathClaw's in the quarry, an attempt which was going well right up until the point I met my first DeathClaw. Holy shit, they're quick as fuck.

wtf is the point of snuffles?

If you've got a high enough science you can heal cuddles' leg and get some karma/NCR fame.

That's it? I wasted exp on medical just for a warm feeling inside?

I was kind of looking forward to shoving a timed mine up his arse and using him against the deathclaws like a Sheep in Worms.

Yep, pretty much it.

This game is making me less impartial to Country.

God Bless Texas.

Met my first Super Mutants yesterday when going around the fucking mountain at Bitter Springs to find this mad tnuc that's picking people off. But anyway, they contain some good loot but I thought they'd be more of a challenge, shotgunned their face 3 times and then went down like a sack of potatoes.

Also met my first Centuars, they look like John Prescott in hell.

Tasty rocket launcher and that Raul guy you can have as a companion :D

There is a wrecked radioactive crater somewhere with a shit ton of centaurs in it and a quality gatling gun.

I finished the final expansion pack (Lonesome Road) the other day. Talked the guy down and then nuked everybody to get more loot. Was very soothing.

- banned from every casino
- killed Alpha Male & Queen DeathClaw on a few tries as they move faster than my morning beer shit, and cause just as much damage
- dominating all life on this planet with the Riot Shotgun. Cannot imagine getting a gun better than this now as even without VATS I can chain-shoot 12 rounds of pin-point perked slugs into my enemies nostrils
- slaughtered the Legion camp with ease, including the mighty Caesar himself. This was too easy and I'm a bit concerned I've sort of ruined the game a bit by doing this.
- will I ever trigger Veronica's fucking quest.

Yeah, I did the same with massacring Caesar and his bodyguards...made the later levels for Mr House too easy IMO.

I finished std New Vegas a while back and now I have the opportunity to buy a cheap copy of the Fully Expanded version.
Wub, do you reckon the DLCs are worth it?
I didn`t enjoy New Vegas that much.

Yes, most definitely. Not least for the funky extra weapons and perks.

I'm not too interested in working with this prick House, it's just I dunno, all mad hype about Caesar and all related quests and I basically just knocked on the legion's door and shit in their mouth. I was gonna ask you at the pub last night whether it was worth butchering them early but I didn't want to be *that guy*

Ahhh, the mission where you get to kill House is fucking jokes, you'll like it.

Bring a golf club. Seriously.

Also if you install all 4 it raises the level cap to 50.

Thanks Wub.

I`ll check it out this wknd.
Plus I played it last year before my upgrade so this will be even better now that it runs super smooth.

My advice would be get all 6 DLC packs on the special edition disc, and install them ALL from the start of a new game.

I have the Special edition so I`ll do just that.

Does the story still run the same way as std New Vegas but with additional quests?

That was the first time I'd been properly scared by a game in a long while...hacking it all the way down to the 5th floor was a nightmare.

tbh, the synchronized groan of 20 distant Feral Ghouls is enough to produce a turtle head, especially when I've got the headphones on.

There are a lot less ghouls in New Vegas than FO3...apart from that one vault mission where this is a shit ton of them.
