best ATM- Livin Different or Alicia

worst- well it'd be easy to name any shit pop remix vomit/shit midrange bass song, but i think a record that i hate that everyone else hypes is Triangulation by Scuba. I listened to it and didn't feel anything, felt dull and empty, maybe was listening to too much burial at the time idk but i think Scuba's boring
I found a way to get piece of mind for years and left the hell alone, turn a deaf ear to the cellular phone

grandmabastard wrote:Best: RSD - Good Energy. It sounds weird to say but there are tunes that I sorta like better, like the James Blake remix of Maybes, but I feel like I could listen to Good Energy on loop forever

Worst: Burial - Archangel (Mt. Eden Remix) Look how many hits it has on youtube, go on.. look. I know, hurts doesn't it?

Either that or Calvin Harris - I'm Not Alone (Doorly Remix) 'LOL this tunez filther than sumthing thats filthy LOL'
yeah if there was one thing a burial tune didn't need it was that fizzy white noise bassline thing that mt. eden and nero love so much :a:

anyway......

best: loefah- goat stare, excellent sample, killer bassline awesome groove just class. That tune or summer dreams because that one gets me everytime.

worst: most boregore tunes, honestly his drops are so goddamn annoying, it sounds like a pig getting fucked and distorted and theres no sense of rhythm in them either.

also nero sucks, as mentioned i can't stand that fizzy static bassline thing they do, its worse than midrange wubz theres just no weight whatsoever to them.

Worst: Yeah, Sierra Leonne. Just fuck off with that.
Hahaha I almost exactly agree with that, but there are so many favorites, Eden has to be up there in the top 3 for me.

Best:

Quest - Eden, Travelling, Searching, Smooth Skin, Mohagany,
Heny G - Christopher, Conqueror Remix, Candy, Soul is Born Through Pain (pretty much every Heny tune)
Silkie - Beauty, Test, Headbutt Da Deck, 80's Baby (The list could go on forever)
JazzyJazzy - any tune.

There's no way I could ever pick a favorite between the above listed tunes. But just the amount of soulfulness and smooth vibes in this style of 140 music is unmatched. Not only does it not get boring like all the similar dungeon tunes that are being over-saturated, but it displays such a high level of musicality and prowess. I would even describe the tunes as "Sexy"

Also, Heny's bass is always so punchy, yet so round and smooth, beautiful sound. The bass in Quest's tunes just surrounds you, completely immersive.

Worst: 16 Bit - Chainsaw Calligraphy

Chainsaw Calligraphy the worst ever? Try listening to it as like a parody of brostep rather than a serious tune, I really enjoy it since I did that. Plus, the bass is massive

Chainsaw Calligraphy is amazing. It's still one of the most over the top, unique bro tunes. Some of yall take this shit too seriously.

BEST:

This is a classic tune, it's got a great melody, and the sub bass is phenomenal. It just takes me somewhere else. :U:

Some of Skream's new stuff isn't as good, but we'll always have the classic material.

EDIT: Pinch "Qawwali" and Phaeleh "Plateau" make a close 2nd and 3rd place.

WORST:

I despise this "song," if you could call it that, more than any other. If you can take shitty synths, shitty Alvin the Chipmunk vocals, and loud shitty wobble and make a song then wham, you're Skrillex :dunce: . I know Skrillex has already received his fair share of criticism on this board, but his hijacking of the term dubstep rightly angers many :u: . Read the comments on this video at your own peril, you may never be able to unsee such lame jokes.

I hate the fact that they've hijacked the word dubstep too, but I love that song. Great fucking melody. No, it's not a dubstep song, but that doesnt mean I can't enjoy it.

Enter shitstorm.

Tbh I like the remix of Nero's Promises, though It would be better without the vox... Other than that I couldn't care less for his music.

I don't think I've ever heard Skrillex referring to his own music as dubstep tbh

yeah but doesn't that mean it would make more sense to hate on the skrillex fans than to hate skrillex himself

i actually always say that.. even when sean paul became a phenomenon i was like... nothing against the dude.. his fanbase tho...

same with skrillex... altho i admit he sounds a little snarky and id prolly steal his gf for 30 min in a club or sumthin.. just for the sake of it...

I have too many personal favourites so I can't say what the best for me is, however, I do know my least favourite tune of all time, in any genre

I don't even care if it's a joke or not, it's fucking horrible and really shouldn't even exist.
