Our situation with Burial is we’ll release something when we release it. I’m sick of talking about it to be honest, because it always spirals out of control with speculation. It’s better that I release the music when it’s ready. And since it’s not ready, I have nothing to talk about.

You must be excited that people want to hear the record that badly though?
Yeah, it’s wonderful, but there’s excitement and then there’s…we get like hostile E-mails saying, “How dare you not give us what we’re waiting for?”

You should just randomly release it one day.
Maybe we will.

Great record, but is it just me or is the actual press a little weird? The A side (Street Halo) is pressed insanely loud, to the point where it actually distorts for me. Craploads of surface noise on it too (and yeah, i'm aware the actual digital file has crackle as standard, but it's even in the run out grooves). No such problems with the B side tracks.
