"shit happens, dude shit happens" always hated that I don't know why
"that was hella cool" preferably just any sentence with the word "hella" in it

also I only use the word epic when something/someone is truely epic like some classical music or watching a 500ft dam break right in front of you that is epic.

nah mate whenever someone says 'same difference' to me they are implying that whatever is being compared has such a little difference that they can be considered as the 'same', not to be 'ironic', that's why they look stupid (also if someone was trying to be ironic they would still sound stupid)
ok ... well, my explanation is the only reason i'd say "same difference" (& it is deliberately being silly); i can't speak for everybody ...
oxymorons got to love them

haha yep did come off a bit harsh there my bad.. if you do use it in the way you've described and those around you understand it as such then thank you, you actually understand it doesn't make sense although I'm not so sure that I understand your "same into obvious nonsense" explanation but that's ok haha.. people here have it twisted

So guilty, but I prefer 'on a mad one'.

somehow it made its way over to my suburb in chicago. don't know how but it was common lingo at my high school!
i quite like hella but i think anyone who doesn't have it ingrained in them gets driven up the wall every time they hear it.

hahaha all the "gangsters/ gang bangers" around where I live say that second phrase a lot. also when they are going to get in a fight or are talking about it they will say "hey dog lets catch a fade" or "those fools are about to catch a fade" holy shit that phrase is so god damn overused and doesn't make any sense either. also "im a beast"

South Park definitely helped spread it. There was 3 or 4 early seasons where Cartman said "hella" a lot. I think that was the first time I heard that term.

"stoked on"... as in "i'm stoked on your beats"... "i'm stoked on this tune"...... just doesn't make sense

nothing wrong with the slang 'stoked' but use it properly... it roughly translates to being 'chuffed' or pleasantly surprised/fulfilled...

"I'm stoked I won that award the other day".... "You're giving me 50 bucks for nothing? Mate I'm stoked."

you can't be 'stoked' on something... you can only be 'stoked'.

Curious.. 'intents and purposes'... I've always said 'intensive purposes'... I guess they both make sense but is one inherently wrong?

Is this to mean they don't have "HELLA" in London,
the phrase that needs to DIE MOST is the phrase you SAY MOST.

IT'S ALL GOOD!

sure it's just a harmless sense of false hope. couldn't hurt a fly.
but now I realize it's not all good,
in fact it TOTALLY SUX BALLZ
