new vegas with project nevada, very hard difficulty and hardcore mode is epic. also I have the caliberx mod which completely revamps the ammo system.
fallout is amazing. oh and anyone that has this on pc, get the mission mojave mod. its a massive bugfix pack, gets rid of alot of immersion-breaking bugs.

the modern fallouts bore me to tears (played em both with mods and without) not to mention new vegas even still is buggy as hell

Same here. I've tried time and again to finish Fallout 3 in vanilla and many varying degrees of mod-ed-ness but it always feels like there's something missing. The combat lets it down a lot but there's a whole host of other things I've never been able to put my finger on. New Vegas felt better at first but I got about half way through and got bored again.

Just bought myself Garry's Mod + Counter Strike: Source for 7$ in steams flash sale! Good deal!
I have a feeling i'll be playing way too much CSS for these next couple days!

Hardcore is great.
Having to always think about food and water, weight, etc.

The DLC content makes hardcore easier as long as you have the Vault 13 Canteen with you at all times.

I just joined a couple servers and one was a sonic remake, and the other had us floating looking like jesus!

Combat arms on pc cause i got no xbox, or ps3 and I like to own hackers with my own skills lol really fun game
