i hope DMZ029 or Mala's next Medi release is 'Stand Against War / Maintain Through Madness', that would be such a deep 12", an instant stone cold classic...

If it isn't a Mala plate, I'd love to hear some new Loefah. It'd be really interesting to see what he's been up to the last few years in terms of production.

Surely Loefah's return will only happen on Swamp?

Nah, he mentioned the possibility of releasing on dmz not too long ago. Wouldn't get my hopes up though.

L: Because I didn't want it to be about me. I wanted it to be about music. I got a label to release on; I've got DMZ.
Extremely doubtful for a release though.

He also said that he didn't want to release his own productions on Swamp.

He also said Loefah DMZLP003 for 2012 or was it 2011 I forget, the thought doesn't even pass my mind now. No point getting your hopes up every time word of a new DMZ release comes round lol

The thing is, if loefahs 100% happy with the tunes he's been producing and he's willing to release them, surely there would be a tune or two of his being played out at dances?

Yeah, I dunno where people get that from he has never so much as hinted at the possibility of an LP.

Man, a Loefah album...Can barely wrap my head around that. What does that even sound like?
10ish tracks of the garage-house-funky variety of stuff he's playing nowadays? A couple of dark 140ers for old-time's sake maybe? A collection of dubplates? Something completely unexpected and experimental?
