I keep telling people, it's all about the petro-dollar. Also, lol at all these trade agreements popping up that aren't denominated in US currency. India is paying for Iranian oil In Yuan now. We are becoming wonderfully irrelevant.
This is good. Now the name of the game is rebuilding this place, making it attractive to capital once again...
im pretty sure thats specifically to do with the embargo on iranian financial institutions that prevents them from transferring funds in or out of the country... an embargo setup by the US
could be wrong tho
True, but if anything, I think it's indicative that life very much goes on without the all-encompassing dollar. I mean the world never needed it, but it shows that the intimidation factor that kept countries from using other currencies to purchase oil isn't there any more.

I mean, that US-imposed embargo clearly doesn't mean much, if the oil is still flowing.

You didn't hear about the unrest in Iran after the value of their currency plummeted?

tony benn going IN
and @devry: well Iran wouldn't be in so much a shit situation socially if a lot of these embargo's were relaxed or lifted
its not that people are happy to dispose of the dollar so to speak, or no longer afraid to trade in other currencies through back doors... its that they've been forced into a corner and have no choice. quite a clear cut distinction which is easily summised
Within hours of the incident, Communist Party of China (CPC) general secretary was quoted by the state media as ordering the largest armed forces in the world, People’s Liberation Army (PLA) to be ready to win “regional wars.”
Nice one!

Wouldn't put it past any govt with all the coups that go on with secret govt involvement.
An unstable middle east is more profitable for the western world than a stable one.

But if evidence of the false flag is released before the chem attack, the false flag won't work?
