it really bothers me seeing modestep actually blow up, after dsf and most of the not-retarded internet treated them like the joke that they actually are.

they were supposed to fade into obscurity.....

I found an artist who sounds exactly like Eptic!

Post by BYTEME » Wed Oct 31, 2012 1:21 pm

After house of just randomly searching around for some new music to buy from Beatport I came across something with a cute little ghost cover art. I was like "Oh that's cute it looks like a ghetto version of a Pac-Man ghost. What's that name.. It doesn't sound all too cool or interesting. But I'll give it a listen because of that cute little drawing.
Heard a song by the artist and was like "WAIT. IS THIS EPTIC? IT SOUNDS EXACTLY LIKE EPTIC. "

The name of this artist is Jantsen. Go listen to "Krush Groovin" by Jantsen and you'll see what I mean when I say it sounds like Eptic.
Formant bass, square chiptune melodies, very ghetto sounding, silly half sound samples switching every 8 measures like you hear especially in Eptics song "Like A Boss."
Keep progressing, one day you'll be great. :)

Eptic is like one of the most popular export products in dubstep from Belgium, he got support from Genetix, Funtcase, etc, but it's brostep...

Micro genre in ripping each other off shocker.

Coming up next, hip hop producer pissed his sampling credits are revealed.
