0:15 seconds in, when the dubstep comes in. How can I achieve this type of dubstep/complextro sound? It sounds like he opened a bunch of different dubstep basses, and made each channel a different type of bass, and combined them all into one. How can I create something similar to that? It sounds amazing. I currently use MASSIVE NI, but yeah. I'd really like to create something like that. I already have enough bass patches for Massive, so I have the sufficient sounds at my disposal. I'm just trying to understand the technical side of the track, and how it was put together, and what type of techniques were utilized in order to get that sound.

Does it help to keep listening to the track and helping identifying parts of it? Would that be a good way for me to try and develop an understanding of how it was made?

You do understand what I mean by "achieve the sound", right? The actual arrangement of the track, and how it was constructed and how certain parts of it sound and how I can achieve something similar.

My guess is they just open a bunch of presets, and play around until something falls into place. There's really no magic to it, if it sounds good it sounds good.
I don't see why you're asking us how to arrange like that tune when you can just listen to the tune and figure it out really, there's nothing we can answer for you when it comes to this I don't think. Just listen to it, play around, and eventually you'll figure something out.
Not trying to be a dick or anything, I just really don't see what we can tell you that listening to the tune won't.

I'm far from good at complextro, but what I can tell you is that Supersaw patch is key, then modify them. Have different synths play between each kick and snare.
Here's what I just did, using 5 massive patches and 3 synlenth.
The hard part about this genre for me is not having it sound like utter shit or repetitive. Soundcloud

Whats good fellow dub playas,
I was hoping someone could help me find a way to reproduce a sound I have been really digging lately. I have experience in massive, razor, and fm8 so I would like to stick to that, preferably massive. Anyways here is the sound:
its that super fast heavy almost metalish sound haha hoping to figure out how to replicate something similar

Instead of lecturing you on things like making your own style of song and how electro house with random bass sounds is not dubstep I'll leave you with the results of a google search:

I'm not the best at them by any means, but I always felt that these sorts of tunes were sort of easy in a melodic sense, just get a bunch of synths playing a few notes of a scale, chuck 'em around, and you're good to go.
I can tell you that getting your drums sounding tight is key: with a thumping kick and snare all the sounds you place in and around them will sort of feed off that energy and stuff. Creative and interesting sound design makes arranging the pattern fun in a way, because you're giving a place for each cool sound to sort of show off what it's got.

the "dum dum" sounds like a derivative of the pitched lead that begins as a riser; but perhaps they are just processed similar. they have the same tonal character.

this kind of shit is the most simple, I bet you. It probably is a brass sample, or synth preset from a synth.

How about this
The sub bass at 2:46, how does he mix it in so proper with the kick. I guess its the way the tune is written, maybe a little sidechain compression in there
