I was like YES. Exactly. That's the whole point, the discussion about what is "Danish" (or British, American, etc.) is completely pointless because everything a legally Danish citizen does is, by definition, Danish, so the whole discussion becomes moot. It's a principle of fairness that a UK resident should be put before someone fresh into the country it's pure common sense-on the same level you could say you don't like life here so you can move to Spain and get given a beachside villa and a welfare check every month

I'd quite like to live in a Spanish villa on the beach for free. But I'm pretty sure that's not how it works... Anywhere
