am not, i go for the music which is always heavy but its nice to oogle at some norks or buttclevage swaying in time to the beat, this sound has a lot of potential to make womens wobbly bits jiggle in time to the beat. buttstep and norkstep is better than blokestep ey

There were loads of women there, they just kept away from ppl just there to ogle them.

I thought Skream rocked it with really diverse, energy-filled tunes, lot of flavour there.

Thought the system was big but a bit rough -- didn't have the round harmonic low end really good subs deliver; it was maxing out too much and square-waving the low end a bit too much for me. Still very good though.

I thought there were a decent amount of women in there actually, I've seen worse ratios.

Somewhere between 3:1 and 4:1, by my count...

More women is always nice, but we come to DMZ for the love - the answer is to make more converts!! :D

it's this kind of attitude that keeps women AWAY from genres of music like dnb and dubstep....

Was all about the stage at the back, though bass was too painful when Loafah was on, had to go sit down! Also could bun there when Skream was on, security didn't really come up after 3ish if i remember...Too many good tunes especially 'Music to make you stagga' and the MASSIVE Ironsoul tune 'Kalawangi' (?), that killed it

Indeed :)

Although it *is* nice to have a good gender mix in clubs... I'm slowly converting people to the sound though! One of my best friends has been to the last couple of dmzs with me, and she's now a total bass convert!

Huge generalisation here, but I think the sound in general is more appealing to girls than breakcore and drum and bass - the aggression in dubstep is more controlled, a bit more brooding. Sexier :D

Dubstep is like Heathcliff from Wuthering Heights. Drum and bass is like Charlie Manson :U: :6:
