The same reason that the "my girlfriend posed with my car" thread isn't dead, it's full of LOL's. Your tune, for instance :D

Yeah i'm sure your car and girlfriend are 'laugh out loud' worthy!

It's amazing how much of a jackass you come across as.

1) First post in the production forum slating my tune (which I will admit isn't rinse worthy.) But to make it you're first post! And to not even say what you didn't like about it, just the word 'shit'

2) To make out your the godfather of Dubstep and that by me not apologizing to you, you would somehow close the gate on me in the music world! It's laughable!

3) Being shortsighted enough to think I owe you an apology and that I would ever give it. Why would I when you insulted me first. And as for me calling you a 'homophobe.,' it's a common American insult, which is why I used it. Rather than 'tosser' or 'wanker' which would be lost in translation.

4) You having an argument with an 18 year old online... I'm sure your the man you say you are (I however am not making any grand claims about my lifestyle involving massive envolvement with multiple artists and labels and dropping in that I have a 'hot girlfriend and great car' ...that apparently get lol'ed at on an online forum!)

You're an idiot mate. Seriously, I made a shit tune yeah, but I had the balls to post it. Why is that so funny to you? Every comment you make just makes you look like a buffoon. The first one being in the Pro Tools thread when you accused me of trying to tell people how to make dubstep in their when none of the posts showed that! :?

Seriously reply mate, I fucking love, the stupidity and snobbery of your posts, it's amazing.

Dont think either of the tunes are that bad. B gets my vote for being more interesting, Like the bassy Mid sound in A but it was a bit boring - as you said yourself though Junglist it just didnt sound finished. Good attempt though why not try and finish it?

Justrob - Nice choonage boss. Would probably have put a rowdier bassline in on the drop after the vocal sample but fuck it everyone does things differently. Liked the tune!

Well ladies. I certainly enjoyed the arms down. Look forward to some more.

Lets hope the forum doesnt become saturated with piss attempts though

Sorry if this pissin' you of DH, I wold love to end it but I love it too much. And when I love it, I seriously mean it, i'm sitting here with a big grin on my face just absorbing it all :D

Seriously though not to appear ignorant, but what can I do to a be the bigger man, apologize? Because I would like an apology from Mr. Bigshot first for referring to my (admittedly rushed, and sub-par song) with such a harsh and blunt 'shit.'

If I received that apology i'm 100% sure I would rebuke that action and mabey some day me and ST could be best friends. Do you think we could ST? Could we be friends?

Oh, and how the tutorial coming along? I think it seems almost complete atm.

I think you heard correctly. You also heard Christopher Walken, which would have won by default, tbh

this is getting harsh...like a car crash in slow motion...so...there should be a rematch between the 2, to ensure that both can do their production in the right set-up...as junglist said he did it all on headphones which is not is normal set up it seems
curtamos wrote:blah most my tunes are made in a day. I think a week is sufficiently long enough time.
likewise...i'd say atleast all the hardwork is done by then...thereafter it's mixdown, structure, and fukkin with frequencies. A week is enough for me to start, love and then hate a tune )saying that i can do that in a day aswell :| )

I guess my rating of your tune comes down to the fact that the timeline was like a week and you said you made your tune in like 4 hours. So really you have nobody to blame but yourself. So you had headphones. I make tunes in headphones all the time, so do a lot of people. Almost every touring DJ makes tunes on the plane or train, on their laptop with headphones.

So because you shit out a bassline in 4 hours(more like using that as an excuse right?) and called it a tune, I smashed it. I didn't like the other tune either. I personally prefer stuff along the chill lines, more garagey, more techno. But I had to vote on the tunes before me, not the tunes I would prefer to hear. And what I heard sucked.

Constructive criticism:

Whatever that was, don't do it again. Try making your tunes between 4-7 minutes long, with a build, a drop, a peak, and an outro at the very least. I could do that in about an hour.

Also, 25 hours into owning Reason I was making basic beats with very little to go with them. I wouldn't say that 25 days at 24 hours a piece is enough time to even begin to understand all that any production software has going for it.

And next time you come bashing every American producer and label, I'm posting that PM out in the open for people to see how you really feel. So I don't need to know every major label head, because judging by the stuff you posted, I can already tell you where you'd likely be shopping your tunes. And guess what... they are American labels. I think it's funny that you said all American producers have a "clean professional studio" sound like that is a bad thing, then compared us to 2 producers that I don't even like their tunes(Rusko and Caspa... rly?)

Please. All the artists signed to our label are either from the UK or another part of Europe, except for 1. So you shouldn't go assuming things about me based on my location. I didn't assume you could make tunes because you are from the UK, did I?

1:10 long, made with acid pro, didn't sound good(I actually just signed a full roster of tunes from Europe for vinyl, I think maybe ONE is from Canada.

So anyway, have a good one.

...made in logic pro 8,

used acid pro 6 on windows because it have vst's exclusive to windows os....

also made in under 4 hours with cack headphones. And while it may not have sounded good, I doubt if I had even achieved what I had set out to do you would still not have liked it. I'm not sure the dark industrial sound would appeal you americans.

Have you ever heard any of the music that comes from the US?

One of my boys is Claw from Trill Bass. I was the first American to sign something along those lines, hell he was the first person making shit along those lines. In the end, distro fell through so I cut him loose to sign with Shift Records. Shift001 was one of the only tunes on Z Audio distro to break even at that time. An American label.

So why not fuck off with that hate speech. Calling me a homophobe., when one of the persons who runs our label is gay is a bit waste. You have no idea who you are talking to, or what bridge you are burning. I'm in contact with every producer you'll be playing tunes by and every label you'd want to be signed by. I'll settle for an apology.

Yes I have heard dubstep that comes from the US, it (imo) all sounds too clean, like it was made in some high end studio.

And please don't talk to me about a hate speech when the first thing you said to me/about my work, was:

Surface_Tension wrote:
That first shit was a joke. FTL.

Also I don't hate gay people, I just felt 'homophobe.' was a fitting comment for an American because judging by the media / movies I have seen (which I know are nothing to go by) their is allot of prejudiced against homosexuals so I presumed it would be more insulting that the typical 'wanker' comment.

And no sorry I don't have any idea of who i'm talking to, and I don't even know you so there is no bridge burning going on at the moment. You were the first one to through an insult my way by calling my work 'shit' so don't get your knickers in a twist when I swear at you.

There will be no apology, the only apology I hope to see would be from you, and if that happens, well I don't hold a grudge and will happily apologize for insulting you.
I mean why would I apologize when you were the first one to insult me?
Apologize please and show me that your not as egotistical as you come accoss.

wow yeah, i realy slated America there lol. By stating that I though American dubstep sounds too clean! OMG RACIST! RACIST!

your such a little weasel, trying to make it look like I said terrible things with your:
