Heh I could have saved you the money on that one. I enjoyed it, but it was a mediocre and short game with some annoying gameplay mechanics.

Nearly finished Mass Effect 3

A few things I'd like to ask BioWare if I got the chance (spoilers follow):

*) What happened to the sense of humour? Where's the lure of playing through as a renegade just so you can say completely arseholish comments and generally act like a raging dickhead?
*) Why have you made everything so over-epic? Especially in regards to gameplay? The game was already intense as fuck, the system for battling was already okay but now with all these rolie polies and a big hunk of shit you don't generally need to use it makes for a not very smooth ride. And how the fucking hell is it that by Shephard actually putting MORE emotion into his voice acting that he comes off sounding worse? And you tried way too fucking hard with the soundtrack. AND WHY DO MOST OF THE PREVIOUS CHARACTERS SACRIFICE THEMSELVES IN GLORIOUS WAYS? IT JUST DOES NOT SEEM NECESSARY. Like Legion, "yeah I need to dissect my personality, why? dunno lol" or Samara "YEAH, CODE N SHIT *BANG*".Were you honestly in such a rush you couldn't write something fucking better?
*) Why out of all the glorious range of characters from number two did you opt to include the most boring shites out of all of them? Ashley and Liara over the likes of Legion, Samara, Thane, Zaaed...and who's idea was it to include this fucking Gears of War reject James? Despite him having NO FUCKING DEPTH whatsoEVER, you get that twat from Scooby Doo to voice him over? I dunno, is he supposed to be a Mexican homeboy or something? How did you not spot that the guy can't voice for shit like, I dunno, at rehersal? Oh yeah ED in a body, WHOOO, that's really fucking interesting! And look how she's adapting to organic life by swearing! Real edgy!
*) Explain the transformation of Ashley for me. How is it that she's physically gone from someone you'd still 'eeeeeee' at even after 10 pints to object of Porn Industry? It's almost like the game is saying "Please, please, please romance this bitch! Make your decision on Virmire seem worthwhile, please pretend she's a good character!" Well guess what you pricks, I wish she was dead.
*) Graphics. Yeah, when shits going on, it's fucking brilliant, no question. But Joker and Shephard and a few other characters seem to have this recovering heroin addict sort of look going on, I dunno, maybe it's just me?
*) Everyone is talking about boring fucking SHITE all the fucking TIME. I've done about 40 hours or so on this game so far and about a third of that is standing fucking still waiting to conversations to finish because maybe I need something for a WAR ASSET. WOW! In the previous two games, the dialogue was amazing and you'd actually get the chance to say different things and get rep this way, and they'd be cinematic shots while you're talking and now it's like "Haha! Look at the relationship they've developed! They're winding eachother up and stuff! Let's listen to this for 10 fucking minutes doing nothing"
*) Are you guys fucking serious with this Traynor slag? She sounds like she's trying to impersonate a Kate Moss Impersonator.
*) Ohhhhhhhh, a kid! How even more epic! Let's put in a dream sequence where we're chasing him through a forest, because he's such a serious plot element. Yeah, let's use a kid. Makes people sad innit. Fuck you.
*) Let's mod guns, even though it rarely makes much fucking difference and you pick up the same shit every time. Let's put in a million fucking items for you to buy, oh wait, you don't really need any of them.
*) The scanning system from 2 was pretty horrible. You made it worse. How is that even possible? Why does the mini game involve trying to find shit before the reapers get you? Did you even play through this yourself before release? It. Is. Fucking. Boring.
*) Here's the citadel for you to explore. No, there isn't anywehre else. Fuck you.
*) You saved the Rachni. You rewrote the Geth. You done loads of other galaxy-changing shit. But it was all for little. Kind of like pissing in the ocean.

Wait till you get to the ending

I was going to say I haven't even got to the much talked about ending yet but it can't possibly dissapoint me more than I already am.

resident evil 6 is such a long game. I've had it for about 6 months and I'm still in Chris's campaign.

Crysis 3 beta.

Looks ok runs ok, but not as big of a holy shit factor as the first one was (Doesn't look much better than Battlefield 3 honestly). Hunter mode is fun, closest thing to a video game version of Predator I have seen. Maps are really small and the king of the hill mode is pretty lackluster. Hopefully the single player portion is better.

Anyone else trying/getting into Wizardry Online? First MMO in ages I'm digging, but sucks without a group.

Totally with you on all that Dead Rats, Mass Effect 2 was easily in my top 3 single player games of all time but I stopped playing Mass Effect 3 about 15 hours in. I don't understand how they managed to get everything so drastically wrong...

been playing far cry 2 tonight and i'm really liking it. had it 2 years and aint touched it before.
decidied i would fuck around with this till 3 is a bit cheaper.
for an old game i have to say the graphics on far cry 2 even on ps3 are amazing.
everything is really well done. the wildlife looks so real too, and the sun looks beautiful over the water.
i have been loving killzone3 online for the last 400 hours over the last year and i have modern warfare2 that i've never been online with.
any1 still play it in general??? just fancied a change. still got a new copy of battlefield3 unplayed aswell. too many games too little time.

Oh, it can. It most certainly can (but it's not THAT awful if you have the exented ending DLC. Just mostly awful).
