^^ Triple big (not including the baccy)

Felt like hammered shit when I got home last night, so decided to work from home today. Also found time to give my bed sheets their regular 4 month wash.

My english teacher gave me a weird look when I mentioned that as the musical instrument I played. Like the wtf stare. I had to give her the 'wiki wiki' dj motion to confirm what i meant.

Lunchtime gym session. Of particular amusement today was the group of 6 skinny lads in vest tops with shit tattoos (stars on the shoulders, chinese writing down their triceps, 'prison' tribals going up their necks etc) all stood around one bench watching each other take turns shoulder pressing a pair of 10/12kg dumbbells.

Wasn't taking the piss out of what they were doing :)

Just the fact that there were six of them stood round one bench when there were enough spare benches for them to have at least one between two of them, maybe even one each.

It's Tooting Leisure Centre. Bit run down, council owned place, but there is a shit ton of room in there.

fair enough then.

i've started going to the gym 3x a week since december and i get a bit self concious cos i'm doing the lighter end of weights (never been into fitness / gym before i started) and i always get a bit embarrased when next man uses a resistance machine and knocks it up to 50kg when i'm on 25/30kg (and it's not like 50 is even big :( )

I wouldn't worry about it tbh mate. Besides, lighter weights allow you to perfect form before moving up.

Perfect form + light weights > Shit form + lifting like a bad man

Do you just use machines, or you mixing up with any free weights?

Something about this picture makes me giggle... it's as if CallMeDave is in a standoff with a tiny shotputter:

Fuck me

They couldn't have made that photoshoot more Scottish if they'd had him visiting a haggis factory whilst wearing a kilt. The Tories north of the border are a constant source of hilarity

This!

Also, the guy could be doing 10 reps of 50 (500) while you could have done 30 reps of 25 (750).
Who's the 'badman'?
